UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN EXTENSION ICS
My experience with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Executive Education was excellent. Not only did the instructor impress me, as he took very complex ideas and concepts and made them very understandable, but the Six Sigma courses’ school of thought and methodology continue to help me in my job. My organization is currently rolling out a large CRM project, and the information I took away from the courses has shown me how to better use flow charts and diagrams to plot my work processes, keeping everything organized and visual. The equation E (effectiveness of solution) = Q (quality of tool) x A (acceptance/people aspect) stuck with me: I came to realize how important it is that the tool and the people involved work closely together in order for an effective solution to be reached. The courses have taught me a lot about how technical processes and the human dynamic must flow seamlessly to further understanding, create a great outcome, and show people how their contributions make a difference.
