Paul Gibbons

Paul Gibbons began his career as an investment banker, specializing in derivatives trading for Salomon Brothers, CSFB and Morgan Stanley. He went on to head sales and trading for Sanwa bank in London. Paul later founded Future Considerations, a consultancy firm that effected transformational change through working with people and culture.

Paul currently divides his time between consulting, coaching and writing. In his consulting and coaching work, Paul coaches a small number of C-level executives, and facilitates workshops and learning events for top teams. His clients have included Barclays, UBS, PwC, KPMG, Shell, Cadbury Schweppes, British Airways, Royal Sun Alliance, and IBM.

Paul’s publications include “Making the Leap,” an article that clarifies the confusion around leadership and management, and “The Body of Leadership,” a holistic examination of leadership and personal development.

His academic background is in finance, psychology, molecular biology, and philosophy, with degrees from the University of Surrey. 

Paul has recently moved his business practice and young family back to the Madison, Wisconsin area. Beyond his family, his interests range from poker to philosophy and from golf to science fiction.
