Anthony Mathews

Anthony Mathews is a senior consultant with the Beyster Institute at the Rady School of Management, University of California-San Diego. Prior to that, he served as senior consultant with Principal Financial Group for eight years, helping numerous clients throughout the country. Before joining Principal, he was president and chief executive officer of Mathews Company and was president of Benefit Systems, Inc.. Mathews is a sought-after presenter for the ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership. He earned his master’s degree from UCLA and his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University. He serves on the board of the National Center for Employee Ownership.
