    Laura V. Page is an organization and business consultant based in Madison, Wis. She assists owner and managers in strengthening employee and customer relationships. Her practice includes consulting on issues of strategic planning, conflict resolution, employee motivation, team building, management development, quality improvement, and customer service. She also facilitates planning meetings/retreats and does executive coaching. Page is a frequent public speaker and seminar instructor. She has presented a wide range of seminars for hundreds of organizations in industry, government, higher education, and health care; both profit and not-for-profit. She is a regular instructor for the Wisconsin School of Business Executive Education and UW-Milwaukee’s School of Continuing Education.

    Originally from the Chicago area, Page came to Wisconsin to attend graduate school and received a master’s in management development from UW-Madison. Her background includes a master’s in marketing/advertising, Certificate in Administration, and bachelor’s in philosophy from Northwestern University. As manager of counseling for UW-Madison’s Small Business Development Center for 3 years, she assisted businesses with issues of new venture planning, growth, leadership, and marketing. In Chicago, Page was a management consultant with Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young), a personnel administrator for a large national distribution company, a media analyst with Leo Burnett Advertising, and a program director at Northwestern University. Her background also includes co-ownership of a rare book sales and small press publishing corporation.

    Page has been a board director and service award recipient of Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs South Central Chapter and a member of the Madison Area Quality Improvement Network. She is a member and service award recipient of the American Society For Training and Development, South Central Wisconsin Chapter, a member of the Midwest Facilitators’ Network and of Madison Area Business Consultants. Page has been a volunteer program coordinator for the American Cancer Society and a seminar instructor and consultant for the United Way — Dane County Management Assistance Program.
