    As a strategist and the owner of Partners for Progress®, a management firm dedicated to helping organizations think and act differently, Lori Silverman has consulted for organizations across 19 different industries on enterprise-wide change, performance management, and long-term strategies to increase success. A member of the National Speakers Association, Lori has keynoted at more than 75 events on a variety of topics ranging from the humorously edu-taining "Schmoozing: Meet, Greet, and Speak with Ease" to important business topics such as "From Vision to Action: Strategic Planning in Uncertain Times."

    Lori has authored more than one hundred articles and workbooks on strategic thinking, teamwork, self-managed teams, organizational change, quality, customer satisfaction, value creation, prospecting for new business, and influencing others. She is the coauthor of Critical SHIFT: The Future of Quality in Organizational Performance and Stories Trainers Tell: 55 Ready-to-Use Stories to Make Training Stick. Her latest book, Wake Me Up When the Data Is Over: How Organizations Use Stories to Drive Results (Jossey-Bass/Wiley, 2006), debuted in the top 100 books on Amazon.

    Lori holds a B.S. degree in psychology and an M.S. degree in counseling and guidance, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also has an MBA degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.
