Susan Stites

Susan Stites is owner of Management Allegories, a firm specializing in management, employee, and customer development. Stites works with organizations of all sizes in the service, nonprofit, manufacturing and government sectors. Her clients include Prevention First Inc., the National Safety Council, Jon Lancaster Automobiles, The Texas Education Agency, EPIC Life Insurance, CUNA & Affiliates, the U.S. Navy, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and FTD Florists.

Prior to starting her own business, Stites was director of human resources at Central Life Assurance and, before that, manager of training for Lands’ End Inc. and human resources manager for Montgomery Ward. She is the author of 10 books and dozens of articles on a variety of human resource issues.

Stites holds a master’s degree in industrial education from Northwestern University. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and is former president of ASTD’s South Central Wisconsin Chapter. She is included in the 1998 Who’s Who in America.
