    Ben Van Roo


    Ben Van Roo is a doctoral candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he spends his time developing analytical models and simulations to solve practical problems that face supply chain practitioners. His focus is the analysis of global and domestic multi-echelon inventory systems. Most recently, Van Roo worked as a supply chain professional with The RAND Corporation and The United States Air Force on a strategic military logistics initiative. He has also worked for IBM Corp. and Sub-Zero & Wolf Corp. He holds a B.S. in computer science and civil engineering and an MBA From the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is the recipient of numerous research and teaching awards.
