    Karen Breen Vogel is a highly regarded and passionate thought leader on the internet’s impact on the future of marketing, sales, and customer relationships. As an executive of strategy for b2b markets for LSF Interactive, she builds relevant solutions and guides clients to leverage the internet to achieve business results in complex marketing and sales business environments. Vogel also leads strategic engagements with clients to match marketing approaches to the buyer’s decision process and buying dynamics.

    Clients include GE Corporate Financial Services, Siemens Energy and Automation, Dow Chemical, Laird Technologies, LSI, Plastic Ingenuity, Caterpillar, and SAGE Healthcare Software. She is a frequent speaker at Search Engine Strategy events, MarketingProfs, Marketing Sherpa, Ad-Tech, The Conference Board, DMA, BMA and the author of several articles and white papers on effectively developing relationships via the Internet.

    Vogel was previously the CEO of ClearGauge, a well-known b2b interactive consulting firm. BtoB Magazine (Crains Publications) recognized ClearGauge with the honorable mention award in the interactive category for the 2006 Top Agencies Awards. She was the keynote speaker at the inaugural interactive marketing conference for Eastern and Central Europe held in Budapest, Hungary in May 2006.

    Prior to joining ClearGauge, as a Market Segment Executive, Vogel launched IBM’s B2B segment initiatives and led e-business consulting engagements that included Newsweek and Paddock Publications. Her career at IBM spanned over 12 years in sales, sales mgmt, and industry marketing roles. She was awarded the Golden Eagle award in 1994 for achieving in the top 1% of all sales teams at IBM. Early in her career, at Accenture, she designed lean manufacturing applications. She received a B.S. IE, from Bradley University where she was elected to the university’s Engineering Hall of Fame, and is a graduate of the IBM Executive Program co-sponsored by Harvard Business School. Vogel is the past chairwoman of the American Business Media Internet Council. She currently also teaches e-marketing for the Wisconsin School of Business Executive Education Program.
