This multimedia classroom has an innovative, ergonomic design with flexible seating. The tiered, C-shaped seating encourages discussion and group project work with a unique, flexible seating design.

All classrooms and the auditorium feature state-of-the-art technology including a 3 position, movable podium and an adjacent wall control unit. The podium and wall unit have the following equipment and capabilities:

• document camera;

• IBM compatible PC with high speed internet access;

• A/V and room environment control system;

• microphone and podium light;

• video outlets for external computer or video systems;

• data port for external computer systems;

• VCR, DVD/Laserdisc and CD players.

In addition, classrooms have high-speed Internet connection ports to the podium and classroom seats. Portable projection systems and videoconference downlinks are available upon request and can be set up to take place in any guestroom, breakout room, office room, or classroom.

A professional staff provides technical assistance and support for all of the classrooms and the auditorium.
