Save time and travel costs with our five-day fast-track courses.
Each five-day course includes the same instructors, foundation skills, topic areas and number of instructional hours as two three-day courses. Since six days of programming are condensed into five days, class days are longer and more demanding (see schedule). Five-day courses also differ in organization from three-day courses. The three-day courses focus on one topic each day. During the five-day courses, some of the topic areas are interwoven.
Take both five-day courses and earn your Basic Management certificate in just 10 days. You can also earn your certificate by attending a combination of one five-day course and two three-day courses. Just be careful not to duplicate topic areas.
The University of Wisconsin–Madison, as a member of the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA), authorizes this course for 4.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or 40 hours.
