    FAQs

    Enrollment

    How do I pay?

Payment is expected prior to the start of the course. We accept several payment methods: company check (payable to University of Wisconsin-Madison), credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and wire transfers. For information and details on wire transfers, please email our financial program supervisor, Nancy Dahmen, at nancy.dahmen@uwex.edu.

    Do you accept purchase orders?

Purchase orders (commitments to pay) are accepted and should be forwarded to our registrations department by fax [1-800-741-7416 (USA only)] or mail. The remittance address for the purchase order is University of Wisconsin-Madison, Box 78047, Milwaukee WI  53278-0047. A purchase order usually has two things that are important: a purchase order number (which can be referenced on the confirmation and invoice), and an address to send the invoice (bill-to address).  Be sure to reference the purchase order number when you register.

Can I reserve a space in the course?

Space is tentatively reserved upon receipt of the enrollment form. Your place is confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Will I be able to use the course for undergraduate or graduate degrees?

Rather than degree credits, which require a long-term commitment, the Wisconsin Executive Education program offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and other evidence of non-degree, non-credit coursework. Recognition of attendance is given out at the end of each course. In addition, delegates can earn Certificates of Professional Development demonstrating attendance in a series of courses designed to provide a body of knowledge; they can also earn a Master Practitioner designation by completing additional coursework and a corporate-sponsored project.

    Are the courses tax-deductible?

Deductions are generally allowed for expenses of continuing management education undertaken to maintain and improve professional skills required for your employment. Consult your tax advisor regarding your situation.

The price on the brochure is different from the price on your website. Which is correct?

The web pages are updated frequently and therefore contain the most current fee information. Call 1-800-292-8964 to confirm.

Are there any discounts for multiple attendees?

Most courses offer a 10% discount when three or more people from the same company register for the same course. In addition, some courses provide discounts to relevant association members. Only one discount per course may be applied. Check the particular course fee description for discount information.

    What do the fees include?
