What is a Friend of the UW Family Business Center?

Being a Friend confirms your commitment, belief and support of the FBC mission, which is to help business-owning families succeed for generations.

  • You want to celebrate the rich, meaningful, vibrant business and personal connections that FBC membership has facilitates.
  • You are a longtime FBC member who is still amazed at the hands-on, educational value you, your family and employees gain by FBC membership year after year.
  • You are a newer member and are keenly aware of the difference FBC membership has made in your family and business in such a short time.
  • The FBC has become your favorite forum to gather with businesses that face similar personal challenges and espouse comparable business goals.
  • You have other reasons not listed above.

So Take a Moment…

To proudly acknowledge your dedication to family business ownership and to recognize the impact the Family Business Center makes in family business success by becoming a Friend of the FBC. Families, individuals or companies who are able to make a financial commitment in the amount of $5,000–$10,000 will be acknowledged as a Friend of the Family Business Center. This financial contribution is renewable annually. Your $5,000–$10,000 contribution will go a long way to support excellence in the FBC's ongoing educational efforts.


As a Friend, you, your family, and your employees will have the opportunity to share a special dinner with an FBC presenter on the night before his/her presentation to the FBC membership at large.



The link will automatically enter the ”School of Business“ and ”Friend of the Family Business Center“ as the recipient, and restrict the funds to the Family Business Center. Please confirm that these elements appear on the form before submitting your contribution.
