James Broderick
James Broderick is the retired vice president, secretary and general counsel of Rayovac Corporation, a leading manufacturer of batteries and lighting devices, where he was in charge of all legal matters for the company, including corporate and securities law, litigation, drafting contracts and settling contractual disputes. Since retiring from Rayovac, he has served as legal consultant for an electronics company near Chicago and continues to be an active educator, teaching three different courses for Executive Education at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jim’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Notre Dame and his JD and MBA degrees are from the University of Chicago.
Steve Cassady
Steve Cassady is director of global procurement at Kohler Co. He is responsible either directly or indirectly for all purchasing activity and associates worldwide. Steve is also responsible for Kohler Co.’s Energy Management and Corporate Transportation and Logistics Organization — which includes all U.S. domestic shipping, international import and export compliance — and Kohler Co.’s internal trucking company Kohler Transport Inc. (KTI). Prior to joining Kohler Co., Steve was with Lucent Technologies (formerly AT&T). In his most recent position at Lucent, Steve was the supply chain general manager with end-to-end supply management responsibility for Verizon, which was Lucent’s largest customer account.
Gary T. Prod
Gary T. Prod, C.P.M., is supply chain manager for corporate services at We Energies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this capacity, he has responsibility for purchases exceeding $150 million annually. Gary completed a BAA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has over 25 years of experience in supply chain management, purchasing, and systems analysis and development in the electrical manufacturing and utility industries.
John M. Mckeller
John M. Mckeller, D.B.A, C.P.M., teaches purchasing, procurement and supply management-related topics for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, other universities and corporate clients. He has served as an ISM director of education, an assistant professor at UW-Madison’s School of Business and as an adjunct faculty member with the University of San Diego and the University of California at San Diego’s Business Extension. He has direct industry experience, having held various purchasing managerial positions with Ralston Purina, Eli Lilly and Company, and General Dynamics Corporation.
