  • How you add value from both managing and leading
  • Five key steps to managing organizational change
  • Leadership behaviors associated with facilitating change
  • Delegation simplified: recognizing and working through the need for control
  • Using a blueprint for change

 

Day 2

Understanding Yourself

  • Understanding innate temperaments with Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
  • Using awareness of style differences to enhance relationships and productivity
  • Improving emotional intelligence competencies: impulse control, clarifying interpretations, speaking candidly
  • Managing triggers and upsets
  • Assessing yourself on your approach to motivating others
  • Learning the goals and roles of effective facilitation

 

Day 3

Improving Performance

  • Understanding decision-making dynamics
  • Learning to manage through decision-making struggles
  • Hands-on practice facilitating real-time situations
  • Finding out what to do (and not do) in the goal-setting process
  • Practicing feedback and positive reinforcement skills
  • Learning what to do (and what not to do) when setting goals
  • Creating an action plan for going forward
