Professional Women’s Leadership Matrix
October 6-10, 2008
- Our Uniqueness Makes us Valuable
- Our Community Makes us Strong
- Our Practice Makes us Better
An ever-widening tapestry of professional women leaders, each with their own skills and perspectives, working together to create a rich fabric of shared knowledge that improves with professional practice.
The Professional Women’s Leadership Matrix is designed specifically for professional women poised to take the next leadership challenge or those who have recently transitioned into new leadership roles.
The duality of this program – strategic professional leadership development coupled with intense feedback – delivers superior strategic leadership expertise. The professional leadership focus is on strategic execution and alignment, with modules on marketing, finance, strategic leadership, and strategy mapping. There is a 360 feedback instrument, a behavioral style analysis, and a leadership feedback component which includes a session with a professional life coach. The unique instructional approach methodology utilized by the all-women faculty combines adult learning principles, case studies, group work and exercises with powerful assessment tools and feedback that provide you with insight into your strengths and weaknesses as a leader. All participants will develop their own strategic plan framework, which will improve their individual and company performance.
Participants will:
- Identify strengths and weaknesses, overcome challenges, and develop an action plan for leadership growth
- Develop the confidence to assume more visible leadership roles with greater responsibility
- Learn how to give and receive constructive feedback
- Gain insight into the effective leadership skills needed to successfully lead their organization
