Workshop 2: YES, AND! SAY YES TO YOURSELF AND THE WORLD WILL FOLLOW

Authentic confidence is valuable and built over time. Practicing improvisational behaviors can help leaders not only achieve authentic confidence themselves, but also create an environment where their employees and peers can build their authentic confidence as well. This workshop will bring insight into communication skills and ensemble-based creation techniques which will help leaders recognize and build such environments. 

  • Examine the power of “yes, and…”
  • Enhance their listening skills by using exercises that instantly reveal listening behaviors
  • Have fun, laugh, take risks and discover their creative gifts and natural leadership ability

Sara Laschever will look at the causes of this phenomenon and the shockingly high price paid by women, their families, and their employers if they don¹t take steps to address it. Drawing on research from her new book, she’ll describe a four-step program to help women overcome their reluctance to advocate for themselves.
