Christine Amalfe is the Chair of Employment Law, serves as the Human Resources General Counsel, and is the co-founder of the Women's Initiative at Gibbons PC. Ms. Amalfe has been extensively involved in defending claims under the State and Federal Employment Laws, including claims for sexual harassment, race, sex, age and disability discrimination, and the Conscientious Employee Protection Act. She has also been involved in matters alleging breach of express or implied employment contracts, intentional infliction of emotional distress, battery, breach of fiduciary duty, and violation of restrictive covenants. Ms. Amalfe has represented corporate defendants, as well as individual officers, directors or employees who have been sued personally, for sexual harassment, negligent supervision, fraud and negligent misrepresentation. Ms. Amalfe also conducts harassment training on a regular basis. She conducted training for the New Jersey Department of Labor.
